In deep respect to my guru who is inseparable from the Buddha. This is the story of my life: I was born in east Tibet in 1964. My parents were from Kham Nanchen. My father Yogi Lama Beru Chophel Namgyal and my mother Gyuza Tseten Dolma were both from a Yogi family. My older brother taught me to read and write from I was six years old. I learned quickly. In those days society underwent big changes. Lamas were killed and monasteries were destroyed. My father, uncle and five brothers were imprisoned, and my four brothers and uncle died in prison. Later my mother was put into house arrest and not allowed to move outside her home. I had a very hard time looking after my mother, younger brothers and sister.

Fortunately Dzogchen lama Pema Chophel was hiding in the village and my mother sent me to do further studies secretly. There I received refuge in the three jewels and started doing preliminary practise in the Nyingma tradition.

I received many empowerments and explanations on many Buddhist texts from Lama Pema Chophel.

When Mao Tsetung died, there was a big change in the society and Lamas and monasteries began to practise dharma in silence. I became a monk and studied dharma in a Kadyu retreat place. After that I walked thousands of miles for pilgrimage to see holy places. I visited Khawa karpo, Langchen Jigri, Riwo tsenga, Tsari tra, Mount Kalash also. During my pilgrimage journey I was doing chöd practice  beside a hundred rivers, a hundred mountains and a hundred graveyards. Then I went back home. My father and one of my brothers were released from prison and my mother was free to move outside her home. However, suddenly it was forbidden for young monks to enter a monastery. That is why my brother decided to send me out of Tibet.

Again I walked across Himalaya and reached Nepal and India. I received teachings on Nyingma, Kagyu, Gelug, Sakya and Bön from more than twenty lamas in Tibet, India and Nepal. Khenchen Dawa Zangpo, Kyabje Burkar Rinpoche, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Khenchen Tsultrim Gyatso and Choje Yidzhin Norbu became my favourite Lamas. I received teachings on Mahamudra, Great Perfection, Six Yoga of Naropa and Six Yoga of Niguma during many years' retreat.

Since 2001 I have travelled world - wide to teach Dharma. People used to ask me for empowerments, divination, meditation guidance and advice on their Dharma practice. I do my best to help them all. With these words I pray that all the living beings may reach the Buddha states.
